Less than an hour ago, I purchased the Gentle Giant R2D2 and Princess Leia animated maquette from scifigenre.com for $59.95.

Since I saw this on the cover of a magazine in Suncoast Video, mid-2006, I wanted it.

*On a side-note, the guy I’m dating went to Philladelphia a couple of weeks ago, and brought me back this 5-inch kozik labbit which I keep on my desk at work:

This little guy comes with a gas mask, popsicle, leet and hot dog which can be switched out. The original smorkin labbit series featured little Kozik labbits with cigarettes in their mouths, but in light of the recent anti-smoking laws which went into effect on November 16th in Hawaii, perhaps this younger, more innocent-seeming series came at the right time.

Collecting vinyl figures is kinda a new thing for me, but it gets hard cause they can clutter-up a place, so I try not to buy too much. But it is a weakness of mine, and they make me smile.
